Standardization method
Method.
Let's consider the example below.
Description of words.
α:testee
Ave.α:("ResultA-α" + ......+ "ResultC-α") / Number of tests submitted
"ResultA-α":α's score on testA
"GapA-α":"ResultA-α" - Ave.α
Ave.GapA:("GapA-α" + .......+ "GapA-δ") / Number of Gaps
Calculation of SSD(standardized S.D.).
standardized S.D. = 15 * ("Ave.α-δ" + Ave.GapA - 100) / ("Ave.α-δ" - 100)
Actual example.
Consideration.
It is difficult to give a high score on testA.
The average of testA was IQ153 S.D.15.
Calculate standardized S.D.
standardized S.D.(SSD) = (15*(153 - 8.42 - 100) / (153-100) = about 12.6
testA's SSD is 12.6
For example, IQ150 on testA, (150 - 100)*(15/12.6) + 100 = about 159.5 SSD15
Data other than testA is insufficient.
At least N = 30 is necessary.
Caution.
IQ using SSD does not guarantee appearance rate.
It only corrects the high and low of the score.
The correlation coefficient only shows the relationship between the avg values and does not guarantee the quality of the test.
This consideration is aimed at correcting the numerical gap between tests, not for the purpose of putting superiority or inferiority on the test. Also, it is an only objective calculation of data, and it is not subject to any subjectivity.
